    Investigating the Role of Public Libraries in Reducing Digital Divide in Jordan: Using Computer and Internet

    The purpose of this paper is to investigate the role of the public library in reducing the gap between digital divide and developing the Jordanian community. A quantitative research method has been employed. 110 questionnaires has been distributed randomly to respondents at two campuses of public libraries. Some questionnaires have been distributed at one of the branches of the library. Most respondents has complied to the request for immediate completion and return of the questionnaire. (90 %) of the questionnaire forms, which equate 100 forms, have been completed and returned. Findings indicate the existence of a digital divide, but also suggested that the availability of computers and Internet have assisted the community to overcome the substantial information divide and develop its culture. The paper has used a quantitative method and SPSS analysis for measuring digital divide and its effects on the users of public libraries in Jordan.     Using the Kano Model and the Quality of the Publishing Function in Evaluating Jordan's Academic Digital Libraries: A Case Study of the University of Jordan

    This study is based on the evaluation of digital libraries of government universities in Jordan and it followed the descriptive and analytical approach based on the Kano model in assessing the requirements for the integration of digital libraries, which is called the "Home Model". The University of Jordan library was used as a case study and then circulated to other public universities for optimal use of digital libraries. A combination of two global models was used to set the Quality Function Deployment criteria. The Kano model as a useful tool for evaluating the quality of services provided by institutions without any consideration for their type. Data was collected to feed the quality of the publishing job-Kanoo model through a questionnaire that was distributed to a sample of users at the University of Jordan to assess the extent to which the services required from the digital libraries were achieved. Because this type of studies relies on listening to the voice of the user (Voice of User), which is the main goal and goal in providing services by institutions, especially libraries, and through this, valuable and relevant information on issues that should be improved In order to increase the users' satisfaction and complementarity in meeting their needs.     The research aims to identify the role played by the Facebook network in the sustainability of the Jordanian cultural movement and spreading it in light of the ban that stopped organizing activities to prevent gatherings due to the Corona pandemic. The researchers used a content analysis tool to analyze three accounts on Facebook of well-known Jordanian cultural institutions, namely: the account ofJordanian Ministry of Culture, the account of Abdul Hameed Shoman Cultural Foundation and the account of Zaha Cultural Center. These accounts are used for news, journalistic and communication purposes. Facebook network plays an important role in the sustainability of cultural activities, implementation and spreading it in the times of crises or during the separation of people and their lack of realistic presence.
